Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
Or by phoning us on 01594 510225, after 11am
The reception staff are not clinically trained to interpret test results, and can only advise you of the information the doctor has entered on screen, therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary appointments.
We have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
If you would like a relative to receive results on your behalf please contact the surgery before your results have come through.
If you haven’t already, you may wish to register for online services.
