AI Powered Ambient Voice Technology allows for more engaged, person-centred consultations, helping to improve communication and building stronger patient-doctor relationships. It does this by listening to and transcribing patient consultations, creating structed clinical notes and reducing the administrative burden on doctors. All transcriptions are checked, and if necessary amended, by the doctor before they are saved into the patient’s records.
After careful consideration of several AI Powered Ambient Voice Technology solutions we have decided to trial two, Accurx Scribe and Surgery Intellect, both provided by companies that we know well and already have a strong working relationship with.
Both Accurx Scribe and Surgery Intellect comply with all UK data protection regulations, including GDPR and meet NHS DSPT (Data Security and Protection Toolkit) requirements. They do not make automated decisions that affect patients or their care, and all personal information is kept secure and confidential.
